GENIKI Bank announces that the General Meeting of Shareholders on 22nd June 2011, decided nominal decrease of the share capital of the Bank by 99,399,624.80 euros in order to form an equal special reserve capital by decrease of the nominal value of common shares from 1.00 euros each to 0.30 euro each, according to paragraph 4a of article 4 Law 2190/1920 as amended by article 32 of Law 3763/2009 and the modification of article 5 of the Bank's Articles of Incorporation accordingly.
After the above reduction the share capital will become euro 87,599,839.20 divided into 141,999,464 shares at a nominal value of euro 0,30 each share and 10,000,000 preference shares each of a nominal value of four euro and fifty cents (4.50).
The ministry of development at its decision No K2-7942/15.09.2011 approved the amendment of the Articles of Association due to the Share Capital reduction. The BoD of the Athens Exchange at its meeting on 06.10.2011 was informed on the relevant issue.
After the above, from 12.10.2011 the shares of GENIKI Bank trade on the Athens Exchange with the new par value of euro 0.30 per share.
